Founded in 1999, the Vintage Amps Message Forum was originally one of the few, and possibly only, resource for inside information on the elusive sounds that so many wanted to find using the vintage amps that were hallmark for making the greatest recordings of all times. These old amps were at one time the sound of the golden era of Rock and Roll and of course some of the most sought after guitarist to ever take the stage. These sounds are not easy to get and you couldn’t walk into a music store and simply buy them, you first had to learn how they were created and with what equipment. The Message Forum had grown over time and its reputation for finding out the details of these specialty sounds were the foundation to the attraction of the message board.
