First year Custom Colors?

Trying to find some info about Marshall Custom Colors but hard to find on the web

Anybody that knows when marshall begin to offered custom colors?

It seems that som custom colors are in 1967 according to Doyle but as I have got it the basketweave cabs came 1968 and there is no pinstripe out there as far I know that is custom colors.....

Could there been made heads 1967 in red and white but no matching cabs or is the basketweave begins in 1967?

Or is it more likely that the custom colors came in reality early 1968 with 1967 spec chassis....?

They did cutoms colors pretty much from day 1 didn't they? I think there's a few white coffin logo heads out there, or 'two tone' heads anyway. The Brian Poole cabs in the doyle book are white in 64.

Not sure when red and purple were first offered, maybe 68. But there definitely could have been custom colors earlier than that in my opinion. If someone asked for it they probably would have made it.

Can't say I have ever seen any custom color pinstripes, except the ones "from Doncaster" but Im open minded about it. They could be out there.

Early custom finishes in 64, but not technicolour.

I think the Brian Poole amps were 65 (I own one of the amps that the T's sold when they got their white gear, from the guy who bought it from them in 65).
When only pinstripe will do.
