JCM 800 - White tolex

Postby RW2003 on Fri Mar 18, 2011 3:34 am

I know that Marshall made the 20th anniversary series JCM800s in white back in '82. Are there non-20th anniversary series JCM800 amps manufactured in the 80's that came from the factory in white?

For example, this 2205 halfstack http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180640296388&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_500wt_1009 for sale on ebay. It's white and looks identical to my 20th anniversay series 2205 halfstack. The seller is not making any claim hat it is an anniversary model.

You could ask him.
I've seen a few red ones from that time without any anniversary tags, so there may be some white ones too.....

Gotta love those white Marshalls....
