Traynor Mark III kits?

Postby racetruck1 on Sun Aug 26, 2007 1:40 am

Does anyone know if there are amp tune-up or rebuild kits available for Traynors? Sorta like the ones available for Fenders?

I just got done reading ALL the threads in this topic! With all the Traynors mentioned, maybe they should have thier own catagory?

Yeah, great amps with their own sound and vibe! I,m sold on them.

I have a 77 Mark III with the 6CA7 tubes and it blows away my Marshall 4100 clean out of the water, way louder!

Great site by the way, I've learned a lot from here! This seems to be the only site that people know what they are talking about when it comes to these unknown monsters.
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

It's one louder,innit?

I don't think so, they're just not popular enough. But all the individual parts like caps ought to be findable. I have a Mark III, and it is indeed an awesome beast, too bad it's so heavy to carry!

I'm in the middle of restoring a 1965 Gibson amp, and I was thinking the same thing: if it was a Fender you'd have the luxury of having all the parts still available, remarkable really.
