Check out Vintage 47 amps - there as close to the originals (and better) as you're gonna get from a new production amplifier.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but... I did pick up a Vintage47 Ric Black Supreme on a trade for a Champ (5F1) clone. After changing out the stock Weber Sig Series alnico for a Celestion Blue, that little thing rocks my socks off. Just sayin'.... :thumbsup:

Want to try another clip with my Firebird to get more cut, but its proving more difficult than I thought. You can get some cut live, but it doesn't come through recorded on the Zoom. Must be those fat-sounding octal pre/PI tubes!! :jam:
