what are the differences betwen a DR112 PA100 and CP100?
I love my 73 DR112,sounds very close to my old 74 DR103 to me.
Is it worth altering it or should I keep using in with pedals?

It's basically the cp circuit with a different looking front panel, more inputs and an effects loop/slave out.

Don't change it.

If you want the cosmetics, sell it and buy a vintage one but keep the old gear intact!

I have a DR512 and it sounds awesome for guitar (just no mid control but that's fine for me). I have a DR103 SAP I built for the other hunger :)

It's a 73, still original.
I got lucky and bought it three days after trading my 74 DR103 for a Marshall.
It was £140 I think, it was a few years ago that I bought it. I had paid £65 for the DR103.
They both sounded VERY similar.

I have had a few amps since , but nothing knocks it off No.1 position.
I had a 60's Selmer T "n" B ,that was nice.
