I think more of a Series II super bass. The controls and knobs look series II. The tubes look like 6l6 or big bottle 6ca7 to me. Interesting looikng amp for sure!

It's totally an OR80 in a different box. I have never seen one before, but looking at the back 2/3 of the chassis, the transformers, and the PCB; that thing is a straight up OR80!

...aside from the tubes.....

I wonder if it has a speaker out. Probably sound pretty mean with a 2x12 cab too.

Strato.Hiwatt is a nice guy, I have purchased a couple of things from him. I believe he is in France. He tends to find Orange/Matamp pieces on a regular basis, so this is an interesting piece. I think Justin Wilkie had something similar listed about a year ago.

hmm, six knobs...maybe an OD80 but not an OR. I don't see any of the pots wired with a bunch of caps either so I don't think there is a FAC.

The tubes a sylvania 6CA7s by the looks of things...very Eddie Van Halen! It definitely looks like an OR80.....like a bass combo. I bet it would sound good with a guitar though!

Seriously, you're gonna bust my chops on that?!? I did see caps behind one knob, so that's probably the FAC. The PCB is totally the same as the OR80/120. I don't know what the sixth knob is for, and the pix are terrible quality, so I can only guess. Maybe it a warp power knob....

Could you install warp power knob on my amp please. Just use the slave jack. Or is this something I can do on my own. Maybe I should try it on my backstage first. :D

Warp power knob is simple really... just take a knob, glue it to the amp, make a label to put above it, and voilà! Warp power knob, everyone will want to know what it does, and the best part - no drilling!!!

...and Lastcaress, sorry about being a putz, I hadn't had my cookie for the day and I was losing at Lego Star Wars! 8)

Hello

i'm Seb, the french guy who had this amplifier, the Orange OR 145.
I post pictures to see how this amplifier had built.
We can see on the board that there is the word "bass".
this is a 1979 amplifier... with an original "15" Celestion speaker.
The sound is loud with my 73 strat.

Inside there are 2 EL34 SYLVANIA yes and 2 ECC83 Mazda.

I think too that this amplifier come from the Orange Hustler's series

If you need informations about my amplifier, ask please.

Have a nice day.

I still think the graphics and knobs are more "Series II" looking...
