An AB165 with 460Pv with modern wall voltage and 'proper' biasing would not surprise me. 410PV would cause me to have a sincerely inquisitive nature.

I'm not sure if it makes a difference but my amp is an AA165 circuit, not the more common AB165.

NO difference regarding biasing concerns. An actual AA165 is a rare amp. IT is not as rare to have the AA165 tube chart in an AB165 amp. Your amp has only 2 gain stages in the Normal channel? There are other differences...the negative feedback loop details, for instance, but that third gain stage for the Normal channel in the AB165 is what is magical, imho.
