The ability to play/make music is a gift that not everyone gets. Those of us who have it should use it.

Asimov:Individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinder critics and philosophers of today — but the core of science fiction, its essence, the concept around which it revolves, has become crucial to our salvation if we are to be saved at all.

more likely someone lowballed him and he bit. very valuable amp.

the speakers are/were pre-rola you can tell by the c/s on the label, and 25 watt/16 Ohm labels would make them post Aug 68. Plexi panel - pre mid 69?

custom colour. few grands worth surely...

Would have been nice if he took some shots of the speakers & back panels. Trannies and tubes etc.

Would hazard a guess it was all there, grill cloth is not original, internally ?? who knows.

Is that purple under all that dirt ? Plastic toggle switches, late '60s ?

I'd want to see guts shots before buying.

It's interesting thats seems an earlier style cab compared to the JMP chassis. Should be the Clapton style cab by then.

maybe he will relist it with a better title. his inbox probably got bombarded.

grill looks original to me. the brown two tone would be correct for a purple amp.

Definitely looks a MK1 Cab regrilled / re tolexed. The MK1 cabs were used concurrently with the Clapton style cabs for a while. Obviously running
the stockpile out.

I thought that may be the case- Whats the latest mkI cab anyone has seen? I've only seen ones with alloy chassis.

You should of seen it before it was cleaned!

Do you reckon the tolex and grill are original? its obviously done by marshall at some point as it has all the correct gold string and staples around the baffle.

Don't know looks a proper job. Marshall were doing purple/cane in 68.

The chassis is steel so I understand from after move to new factory end 67 so not inconceivable custom order?

The OT is a -128 typically block end JMP or Black Flag JTM, the rest of the board is very much '67 style (cap dates might help. Shame about the PT. What do you have to replace it with. I would take a punt as I have a 5v tapped -118 spare but early interest suggests out of this month's pocket money range (and maybe some....!)
