Now it's time to place bets. How many shows before it all falls apart again and Eddie blames everyone else.

I hate to say it, but Michael Anthony contributed alot to that band...those harmonies were ALL him. I don't know if Wolfie can even sing, and its not fair to throw him into that mess, at 15 years old.

I think keeping the tour short like this is the only hope it will work for the long term ( meaning, past this tour). Hope it is cool....

So, how much therapy you think Wolfie's gonna need after a month or so on the road with Alex, eddie and dave?
I'm surprised Valerie agreed to this!

We must not forget that Van Halen are from California, and that is the "end of the world" for rock bands.

Australia just doesn't have that much to offer !

Exactly!

They don't need a tour, they need family counseling.

I bet Val is stoked to see her only son going out on the road with her ex who's scoring porn movies, still smoking after cancer, and still has *rumored* problems with drink and blow.
Then add 'ol Uncle Alex, no stranger to substances and divorces and Diamond Dave who acts more like Liberace these days than the rocker he once was.

Ugh!

Let's see how the RRHoF goes first...

BTW - At the moment the RRHoF ceremony DOES NOT have a TV deal, so unless something changes, don't expect to see it's overedited ass on VH1 like years in years past.

My biggest hope is that if it truly comes together, they have some new music to offer and not just the hits.

If the ticket prices aren't to high I'd like to go. While I've seen plenty of live videos with the original line up I've never seen them with Roth. So my attitude would be, "how are they as a band NOW" vs. "are they what they were before?"

Shame that Mike Anthony isn't with them. I really feel bad for that guy.

Yes, it is a shame. Michael Anthony was a big part of the "sound" of Van Halen.
