I use Punky McGoo's pickups...and Grundy MacTavich's electronics in my guitars. :D
I also use some Bardledoo caps, and like what I hear. ;)

I've used MM and Marstran and both are a huge improvement over the stock reissue transformer IF you are looking for less compression, more volume and wider frequency range. Between MM and Marstran, if it were my amp I'd take the Marstran as it retains the characteristic midrangey Marshall bark. The MM to me comes off as almost HI FI sounding... very efficient and transparent, not necessarily a bad thing, but not what I'm after in a Marshall.

Heyboer are excellent transformers as exemplified by the Marstran line (available only from Marstran).
