In this amp:

Some peculiar tone shaping network, can't quite make it out. Looks like the cathode follower tone stack has been removed, is it like a Baxandall network?

Nasty things seem about to happen to the mains filter can. Interesting to see dual 32 preamp can in a JTM45 too (maybe just a later mod?)

The sort of amp nice to buy as a fixer upper but well past that price for me now :(

That would be a great project. Looks like Harry Joyce signed off on the tag board - originally, anyhow.

I like those gray, RS input jacks!

Don't know about that tone network....

At a quick glance that looks like it might actually be a Hiwatt tone stack, which someone may have decided to put in as a mod.

I see a complete lack of neat right-angle wire bends which might suggest Harry Joyces work. Or were you meaning that as a joke?

Yeah, good point. That's just Joyce, Agnes' friend. Or, maybe Harry Joyce did put in a few shifts at Marshall and he's responsible for the weird tone network and raised preamp filtering.

Edit: I posted right after you, zaphod_phil. Yeah, that was a poor attempt at humour. It is funny that you think it looks like a Hiwatt tone-stack.

Ah you mean that Joyce!

If you ever wire a Hiwatt tone stack with the components soldered directly onto the pot lugs (unlike how Hiwatt normally did it), it does end up looking somewhat like that. And I'm not saying that I'm sure it is a Hiwatt stack, just that it reminds me of one....
