SUPER CLEAN early JTM45 Coffin logo that has all original parts. This amp is a very nice piece for a collector or a studio. We reformed the original capacitors and they work perfectly. The amp has original Genelex KT66 power tubes, Mullard, Telefunken, Brimar or Amperex preamp tubes. All the best. There are so few of these you almost never find them and to find one in original condition is very unusual. We spent a lot of time restoring these amps to be sure all was right and they worked exactly as they were designed. The Bias is set perfectly and the amp works beautiful. From the details on the inside we believe this amp was built by Ken Bran personally as we have got to know his work well and his detail in construction. If you want to rate just how hard to find and rare these early Marshall's are, Think 1959 burst Les Paul and then divide that in half. Then add in that these amps are every bit as desirable in every sense of the word.
This is another amp that was in a collection that took over 30 years to amass. It spent the last 30 years inside a Studio and hadn't even been fired up in 10 years. Our restoration has brought it back into the fully working condition it was in when it was sold new. These are amps every collector prays for. Perfect and whole. Sonic bliss!
Pay attention here, This amp has three (3) toggel switches. That is found on the earliest models only. Normaly the offsets only. I beleive this is the first of its kind to be built with the split deco on the front panel.
